Kings of Leon, consists of brothers Anthony Caleb Followill (on lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael Jared Followill (on bass guitar, backing vocals) and Ivan Nathan Followill (on drums, percussion, backing vocals) , and their cousin Cameron Matthew Followill (on lead guitar, backing vocals).
Kings of Leon are an American rock band who formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1999.
Kings of Leon’s early music was a mix of rock and blues, the group expanded their sound incorporating a variety of genres including indie and alternative rock. Kings of Leon had nine Top 40 singles, and two Brit Awards in 2008, they achieved initial success in the United Kingdom and all three of the Kings of Leon’s albums peaked in the top five of the UK Albums Chart. Kings of Leon’s third album Because of the Times reached the number 1 spot. After the release of Only by the Night in September 2008 Kings of Leon finally achieved chart success in their native United States.
