Brit Awards 2010 nominations have been announced at the media packed 2010 Brit Awards Launch Party, hosted by Radio 1's Fearne Cotton .

The Brit Awards 2010, 30th Anniversary Launch Party took place on Tuesday 16th February,at Earl’s Court ,London which had The Brit Awards 2010 Launch Party, shown live on BBC2 .

The Brit Awards show celebrates musical artists and their accomplishments thoughout the last year. The Awards go to both company committees selected winners and fan favourites

Brit Awards 2010 looks like it's facing a lot of female competition , as nominations revealed that newcomers at this year’s 30th Brit Awards are Pixy Lot, Bat for Lashes, and La Roux ,who are relativly new perormers .

Also nominated is Lily Allen, Lady Gaga,and Florence And The Machine who managed to get three nominations each the star studded show.

Cheryl Cole be also be perfomng , making the 2010 Brit Awards a female Dominated Event.

The Brit Awards are a popular award show , they showcase both British talent while recognizing international artists who have gained popularity within the UK music scene.

JLS and Leona Lewis, who were both former contestants on UK's X Factor TV show, are also up for awards. The most shocking news is that Susan Boyle, who was the top selling UK artist within the past year, did not receive any nominations.

Rumours are circulating around the press that Lady GaGa , is in talks to try and have Susan Boyle perorm a duet with her , it still remains unknown whether or not Boyle will be making an appearance.

Also perfoming is Robby Wililiams , Kasabian, La Roux, Dizzee Rascal, Jay-Z and the legendary Bruce Springsteen .


Comedian , Peter Kay will host this years 2010 Brit Awards.
