Just 3 years after Lady Gaga rose to fame following the release of her debut studio album The Fame Monster,(2008), which achieved international popularity with the hit singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" with a further two global chart-topping singles "Bad Romance" and "Telephone"and just months after having finished her first World concert, The Fame Ball Tour, Lady Gaga embarked on a second global headlining concert tour, The Monster Ball Tour,

Her second studio album, Born This Way, was released on May 23, 2011 after the arrival of the hit single "Born This Way" which achieved the number-one spot in countries worldwide and was the fastest-selling single in iTunes history, selling one million copies in five days.


The pop star has claimed the top spot in Forbes magazine's annual Celebrity 100 list.

The Paparazzi star moved up four positions from last year and has knocked TV chat show host Oprah Winfrey of the top spot.
